This project is aimed at improving the portrayal of Italy. I tried to remove all the historical inaccuracies and improve the database with hundreds of real ministers and leaders. I added dozens of new events and a playable Democratic Italy, and fixed many bugs. The goal is to provide a much more immersive and historically accurate game experience with Italy in both WW1 and WW2.

unit pictures: 680+ historically accurate pictures for Italy, AOI, RSI, Democratic Itay and Communist Italy
scenarios: new OOBs for 1914, 1933, 1936, 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942, 1943; Italian Kingdom is playable in 1944, 1945
events: tweaked the Italian Surrender event, plus many historical and a-historical events for all the countries above
ten audio files: eight historical Mussolini speeches (Balbo's flight, war on Ethiopia, declaration of the Empire, victory in Spain, annexation of Albania, racial laws, war on the Allies, war on Greece), the Italo Balbo speech in New York in 1933 and the 1943 Badoglio armistice announcement

Four unique battlescenarios:
- 1866 Italy vs Austrian Empire battlescenario (Third Italian Independence War)
- 1940 Operation Compass (Italy vs. UK in Egypt/Libya)
- 1940 Greco-Italian War (Emergency G, Italy vs. Greece and UK) that includes the Metaxas speech
- 1943 Operation Husky (Italy and Germany vs. USA and UK) that includes the Roosevelt speech

Installation: copy the content of the Darkest Hour Full folder into the Darkest Hour A HOI Game\Mods\Darkest Hour Full folder, and play! If you want to keep the original files of the game, make a copy of the Darkest Hour Full folder before applying the mod. Remember to select the desired mod in the launcher (under "Load a mod").
